Coincidence? I think not.

I was all set to buy this...

A city bike. A hybrid. A not mountain bike. A bike I can ride around and not kill my back or my arse.

Had the money saved. $300.

Yes, I have a very expensive mountain bike. Get over it.

I had it waiting in my shopping cart.

Then, on Sunday night suddenly Oliver appears to be in agony around 10pm and I have to take him to the emergency vet hospital until 3am. Triage. Tests. Pain shot. X-rays. Holiday doctor exam fees.

What was the bill you ask? $300.

This cat is lucky I love him so much. Diagnosis? Have no idea. Definitely was in pain. It passed. This has happened a few times before but to a much lesser degree.

I could cry.

ps: thought about getting this one but I think I will wait until I'm 60.

Do you do Craigslist at all?? I highly recommend. You could post an ad describing what kind of bike you are looking for and you never know who might respond...give it a try.

And yes, you can call me names, but you must only choose names from the following list:

Angel From Above
Princess of Beauty
God's Gift To Us
Apron Goddess
Sweetness
and
Miss Perfection

Do *I* do Craigslist you ask???? DO I DO CRAIGSLIST???

That is how I rented my house out when I got married. Couldn't sell it. But, I'm getting some GREAT rental income from somebody I found on Craigslist.

I can't speak highly enough of Craigslist. Free. Submitted my entry and minutes later I had a list of people who wanted to see my house.

Century21 realtor on the other hand... total loser.

In the end, I'm glad it happened this way.

I would go to the dentist to have that pink bike. Oh my stars AND hearts, that's good stuff. I'm so sorry to hear about Oliver. I hope he's okay.
